Our name is our mission statement. We build bungalows in the  family friendly town of Black Mountain ,N.C.            The Black Mountain Bungalow Company  achieves its objectives through  the teamwork of three separate entities:         The Black Mountain Bungalow Company owned by Charlie Sparks acquires the homesites and builds the homes. Charlie has been a longtime  member of the National Association of Homebuilders and was a nationally recognized owner/developer of  retirement communites in Florida for twenty years. He and his wife Carolyn  live in Black Mountain, North Carolina  and Jupiter, Florida.     Thomas Lawton AIA,  creates the innovative interior and exterior home designs and provides architectual administration during the construction process. Tom lives in a 1920's era bungalow in Black Mountain.       Carolina Native Landcapes, owned and managed by Tom Manolfi . Tom creates  the  master plan for the building site and implements  the landscaping and stonework designs. Tom  has an architectual degree and his family lives in  a 1920's era bungalow in West Asheville.      Each of us appreciate the  personal attention to detail, the use of native materials ,and the implicit character of Arts and Crafts homes. These elements define our efforts and instill a warm pride in our work that we hope to share with our clients.
